Tattoo.

This has been a long time comin'. I've been patiently waiting for designs/ideas for my tattoo. The basis has been long thought out and encompasses my three favorite songs:

Thrice - "Music Box".
Needtobreathe - "Garden".
Life In Your Way - "Salty Grave".

They all express deep values and explain more than the exterior of who I am. They break down much of who I am spiritually and what I hope to be. All together, they are more than an anthem. And this is why I want these songs tattooed on me: as a permanent reminder of the simplicity of my faith, that my life is not about me, and that I have boundless strength, I am never alone, and I always have an endless love that surrounds me.

Love.

How do you explain LOVE to someone who refuses to believe in a love that is never changing and never falters? My heart breaks, I cry a little, and continue to wonder exactly what to do and what to share. It's always a different scenario with each person I encounter. But for me, with each instance, I always come back to the common factor of the same quality where their refusal begins: LOVE.

I am equipped to show love.

When we love others well, we love the Lord wonderfully.
II Corinthians 5:20 - "So we are Christ's ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us.
We speak for Christ when we plead, "Come back to God!"
